Fittipaldi 40 Years F1 Project + Artwork 1
A
tribute to Emerson Fittipaldi for the 40 years of the first Formula 1
Championship. All work commissioned by Giclée Studio for their client Hotel
Transamerica in São Paulo. The chosen area is the Boteco HT. Hotel Transamerica
is known for hosting most of the F1 teams as it is the nearest to Interlagos
circuit. There were various phases in the project. It started as a tribute to
Emerson, who confirmed his presence and even sent some of his personnal
portfolio with the JPS team photos. As it turned out the, due to sponsorship
restrictions and one major dropout,, which led to a new briefing, the final
project became a simple decoration with the HT bar logo replacing all evidence
of any historical images. Only the entrance wall remained to illustrate
Fittipaldi's path to the first Formula One Championship to be conquered by a
Brazilian.
